Look-a-likes for Less: In The Details

The Inspiration: Melissa Sweet "Fern" gown
A very detailed and Art Deco-inspired gown with "sunburst" patterned pleating and fitted with net and lace and a sweet little bow to finish things off.  A lace draped sweetheart bodice and natural waist with A-line skirt manage help polish up the details.
Like a work of art, you could gaze at this gown all day and still discover new and sweet little nuances.

The Look-a-Like:  Watters "Mackay" gown
Organza and cotton is pin tucked, pleated and beaded into textured and varying bands.  The clean and simple slightly flared silhouette with a softly contoured neckline offer a clean canvas on which to display a fun play with fabric.
It's definitely a fresher take on "Fern" and offers a different kind of retro feel, more playful and less formal.  While not at all identical (and not a "look-a-like" but more of a "feel-a-like") Mackay offers the same fine attention to detail and reckons to a retro Art Deco era.  With this gown you could also gaze at it all day and discover new and interesting details.
