I think the idea of "separates" sounds dated and out-of-fashion to many, which is why you don't see it too often. But this Alberta Ferretti combination of silky embellished top and full tulle skirt is fresh and different while still being fashionable; that it looks utterly comfortable and wearable is an extra.
I can even see recreating this look on a budget!
