Criss Cross Bodice

Lately the Alfred Angelo 2012 collection has been right up my alley.  I am finally starting to see something that branches out from the strapless embellished ball gown or mermaid.
This gown in particular seems so wearable, if not comfortable.
I had always heard that the bodice of a wedding gown should look as snug as a swim suit and this bodice certainly fits that criteria since it actually does look like it could be a swimsuit topped off with a skirt (in a good way!)
The bodice is a strappy double v with a flattering criss cross paneled rouching in front with a cleaner angled rouching in the back, topped off with a button line.
The decorated waistline, which is angled in the back, tops off a soft floaty skirt of angled tulle tiers.  I love that the waist line is slightly below the natural waist but not a dropped waist.
