Next up on my Golden Globes recap we have Angelina Jolie in a fantastic Atelier Versace side rouched column gown with slit and red neckline detail. Angelina usually bores me but the pop of color goes a long way on her. Her body type is that of an slim apple: square-ish and angular on top with a very small lower half but the rouching here does a good job of adding shape.
Ariel Winter in a purple Dolce and Gabanna dress looks cute and age appropriate here. The draped sweetheart strapped bodice with textured full skirt is a bit prom dressy but it is dressy enough for the event and great for her age. I love that she appears to have dressed in a way that made her happy instead of bowing to the nude/neutral trend like so many others.
