Continuing on my Golden Globe recap, personally I though Heidi Klum looked great in her Calvin Klein sheath gown and chunky turquoise statement jewelry. Even though she was on trend, she did it her way, choosing a creamier, more saturated nude tone that flattered and contrasted with her hair and skin tone. The chunky turquoise necklace also just made the dress; I don't think it would have looked anywhere near as stunning without it.
Jessica Alba in Gucci also did the nude color trend her way by sticking to a dusty rose hue instead of a a full-on nude. The dusty rose flatters yet contrasts her skin, the texture adds a little something and the inverted basque detail slims and lifts her.
