The sheer, embellished detail of this gown's bodice comes across as very feminine and embellished chain mail-like armored plating! Perhaps even a bit "Snow White and the Huntsman" if Snow White was a Mediterranean princess.
While the gown is sheer, it does provide some modesty with the discrete neckline and sleeves.
