Classic Sleeveless Gowns

As I was perusing wedding gown archives and looking for interesting looks, it occurred to me that I was choosing a lot of sleeveless v-neck A-line gowns.  In general I find these elements combine to make a very classic and timeless look.  They tend to not be very trendy but they are so so lovely and come in so many different varieties.
Rather than do a bunch of different posts with the same style of gown, I decided to condense all of them into one post.  This was actually a fun exercise and I think I'll do it again with a different "theme".

This organza gown by Alfred Sung has a carefully pleated and rouched asymmetric bodice.  The faux wrap style is echoed in the A-line skirt which features an asymmetric gather detail.  I love that it is so clean and unadorned.

This Anjolique tulle gown is quite a stunner and looks so statuesque.  The neckline has gathered tulle straps over a sweetheart neckline, creating a sort of illusion look.  It also has an embellished empire waist detail, a rouched drop-waist style bodice topping modified mermaid skirt.  The skirt has a very interesting hemline of contrasting satin bands, which add a bit of shimmer and movement.

This Luna Novias gown  has a wrap style pleated bodice with a high waist.  The skirt is a smooth princess seam flared skirt in a modified mermaid style.  This is a really great example of a princess seam skirt.
I absolutely love that this gown is unembellished and is so smooth it looks like ice cream!

This Cosmobella gown has something a bit different with the pick-up overlay skirt.  It is still a manageable A-line, but the pick-ups add a bit of volume that is neither as heavy or as bulky as a ball skirt would be, especially when you factor in the necessary bustling of the skirt.  Something to consider if you are unsure of silhouettes!
The bodice is a neatly pleated wrap style with natural waist contrast detail.

This White One gown has a little something extra in the form of delicate applique lace.  The lace is softer than sparklier embellishment but I think its so much grander here.  The bodice is a gathered wrap style, with a slightly high waisted cummerbund style pleated band.  The full gathered skirt has cascading applique lace.

This Ella Rosa satin gown is considerably smaller than the other styles so I think that makes this gown considerably more casual and informal, perhaps for a smaller or more casual event. The bodice features pleating at the underside of the bust, with a high waist, which FYI would be very flattering on the bust. It also has a bit of an embellished floral detail, but is overall very clean and soft.
