Sunday Best: BariJay F2012

The following are a few of my favorite maids styles from BariJay F2012 collection.
I really love some of these gowns and while I think they are amazing in color, some of them would even make great alternative wedding gowns if done in white or ivory.

Style 531 is a one shoulder chiffon and charmeuse A-line gown with high asymmetric waist and back pleated skirt.
I think this one would be an amazing bridal alternative gown.

Style 533 is a v-neck sleeveless gown with surplice neckline and faux-wrap style and criss-cross back straps.  It is chiffon and charmeuse so it has great drape.  I think the front of this gown is so lovely.

Style 537 is a one shoulder, no-waist seamless drape A-line gown.  Though you definitely can't tell in the picture, the description says it is a iridescent chiffon which I can bet is so shimmery and beautiful in person.
I think this is very clean and Grecian look, especially if the bride's dress is Grecian, I just don't think it would be very universally flattering at all.  Shiny potato sack doesn't sound appealing and most girls prefer something that makes us looks shapelier.

Style 539 is a satin natural waist gown with a cute ruffle one shoulder and a slight flared skirt.
This one is also really lovely but the satin might be a problem for lower proportioned figures.

Style 540 is a chiffon and charmeuse boatneck gown with high waist and blouson style bodice over a slim line skirt.
This is great if you want a bit of modesty, but it doesn't really call to me too much.  Maybe its the pictured color.

Style 541 is a classic strapless, slightly high waisted A-line gown (with pockets.)
To me its just a bit on the plain side, but its good if you want a very clean visual palette.  This is clean and unfussy and classic.

Style 542, an iridescent chiffon asymmetric neckline gown with full-line rouching and  modified mermaid silhouette.
In black it is so classic, but the rouching and that neckline give it a big twist.  This one is probably my favorite of the bunch, I wish I could have found a back view!

Style 543 is another chiffon A-line gown with pockets and halter-look neckline in the front that turns into straps at the back.
This one is another favorite.

Style 544 is a soft sweetheart strapless charmeuse slim gown with side rouching and ruffle detail.

Style 545 is a clean one shoulder charmeuse gown with natural waist, and side pleated A-line skirt.
I like that the skirt has little pleats, which add movement to the skirt but keep it sleek and slim.  This is another favorite.

Style 547 is a satin tea-length A-line gown with natural waist, box pleat skirt, and double scoop neckline with curved cap sleeves.

Style 550 is a chiffon flutter strap gown with rouched empire waistline and clean A-line skirt.

Style 551 is a faux-wrap chiffon double v-neck gown with flutter sleeves, rouched surplice bodice, and waist detail.
I really like this one too except I wish the back was a little bit higher.

Style 552 is an asymmetric one shoulder chiffon gown with asymmetric bodice drape and flared skirt.
This gown is a great example of a godet style skirt, which I'll discuss soon in my Bridal Glossary segment.
