WhimsyBride Favorites: Pronovias Gowns 2013 Pt. 1

I am absolutely in love with these Pronovias gowns, from the newest cocktail gown collection.  There were so many favorites that I just decided to split them into two parts.  I'm still working on Part Two, which will be out a little later in the afternoon.
For Part One however I decided to focus on the soft palette gowns.  Since the color is so soft I really feel any one of them could double as wedding gown alternatives.  Some of the styles are even reminiscent of gowns by Jenny Packham, and have a "glamour bohemian" vibe going on.
Here are my favorites of the collection, enjoy!

The Cairo has an embellished blouson look and pleated neckline, which looks to be almost a racer-back style.

Canarias is a nude grecian one shoulder with embellishment and contrasting natural waist sash.

The Cancion has a lovely "built-in bling" with that embellished neckline and blouse-y style.

Cangas is an empire waisted, floral one shoulder, with pleated bodice and gathered A-line skirt.

Cantaron is a one shoulder with hanging drape and gathered A-line skirt.  The asymmetric rouched bodice is probably the best part of the dress since it carves out your figure in the best possible way.

Cadea has a really cute and almost retro style high "wedding ring" neckline with bow, blouson-style bodice, and a natural waisted, vertical tier skirt.  It almost looks like a pink waterfall cascade.

Caolin looks like a regal Roman wrap, with its one shoulder draping and high bodice embellishment.

Capilla also has a Roman toga theme going on, with a similar embellished bodice, but this version is decidedly more refined and tailored.

Capri is a cute, high waisted A-line gown with gathered skirt, v-neck and lace sleeves.  This dress looks fun and lightweight.

Caracas has an embellished halter neck style with high waist band and a ruffly tiered skirt.

Carlota has a very retro 70's feel that almost looks like a poncho.  It is a sleek and embellished one shoulder gown.  (Truthfully it reminds me of Jaqueline Kennedy's nile green Valentino gown.  No,  J-Lo did not wear it first, her version was a copy-cat.)

Castiza is probably my favorite of all of these gowns.  The high neckline with the asymmetric bodice - one side sleeveless, one side tiny cap sleeve - really slays me.  This gown also has a natural waistline and gathered A-line gown.

Caucaso is just so dreamy with a floral applique one shoulder.  The natural waist gown also has a floral applique cascade skirt with sheer overlay.  Its floral but not too sweet.

Cauce has a nice straight neckline, slightly high waisted bodice, and a full tulle skirt with scattered floral applique.

Cecilia is an amazing and ruffle bedecked gown.  The soft sweetheart neckline on the high waisted bodice features a staggered ruffles, a detail which is continued in the full tulle skirt splashed with winding ruffles.

Cita is probably one of the simple gowns but another personal favorite of mine.  It has a straight neckline on the princess seamed, high waist bodice, and a gathered and tiered A-line skirt.

I find Condesa to look very much like a Jenny Packham gown.  It is a bias cut gown with embellished one shoulder (with sheer sleeve) gown and sash detail at natural waist.
