Pearl Girl

I don't know what I love more about these pictures, they styling or the dress!

The dress is truly amazing, with voluminous box pleated full skirt and a lace sleeveless overlay neckline.  The wide satin belt truly does cinch in that waist and almost makes me think of a 1950's style where whittled middles were in (aren't they always?)

I guess what I really can't get over is that lovely pearl hairpiece!  In the top picture it almost looks like a pearl halo but this side picture shows it encircles a significant chignon.

Pearls of course fit perfectly with the 1950's silhouette and inspiration of the gown.  The addition of pearls in the hair and at the neckline - which would only clutter it up - wins genius points!
