Look-a-Likes for Less: Taylor's Red Lace

The Inspiration:  Taylor Swift's crimson Elie Saab gown with paneled lace bodice from the 2012 BMA's.  At first glance it looks a lot more risqué than it actually is, especially for Taylor, yet there is a barely visible nude bodice underneath the lace.

The gown features a round jewel neckline and sleeveless styling, with a gathered A-line skirt.

I know I recently covered part of the Belsoie 2012 collection here, but this dress stuck with me since it looked so familiar!
This gown features a similarly inspired sleeveless lace bodice with A-line skirt.  While this look skips any risqué illusion, it does feature a slinky double v-neckline in the front and back of the bodice.
