Jennifer Hudson in Vera Wang. Love the smoky tulle!
Ashley Greene in a glittery nude Donna Karan. The feathery design is great and the soft tulle train seems like it would be manageable.
Emma Roberts in Michael Kors, although quite young, looks mature beyond her years! This is sort of a modern take on retro where the graphic and cutout are quite modern but the lush hair and cut of the gown is quite retro.
Naomi Watts in Stella McCartney has a great illusion bridal look, even if her hair looks a bit disheveled. With nicer hair, this could've been stunning!
Margherita Missoni (left) in a knit Missoni (with Joy Bryant also in Missoni) has an interesting look that I can't quite put my finger on but I think it works.
My favorite red carpet bridesmaid inspired looks were:
Isabel Lucas in Louis Vuitton. Except for that extreme head gear, I really like the look and love that neckline.
Sofia Vergara rocked a great printed color block gown from Carolina Herrera. I think this would be a very unique bridesmaid look.
I also thought the silhouette of Michelle Williams' Miu Miu gown. The birds were not my thing but I think the drapey sleeves are so unique and different from what you normally see.
Anna Wintour's (right) daughter Bee Schaefer in Balenciaga proved that simple and classic can do no wrong. I think the color on her skin and her hair are classic perfection that would look timeless in photos.
Dakota Fanning in a floral Valentino gown would make for a strikingly fun junior attendant look. What young girl wouldn't want to look like a sophisticated fairy princess?
And lastly for mother of the bride inspired looks:
While I am not her biggest fan I think Madonna looks stunningly retro and modest in a star embellished biased Stella McCartney.
Another delightfully retro lady was (surprisingly!) Amy Poehler in J. Mendel. (I think she resembles Jean Harlow here.) Hers is a look perhaps more moms can embrace because of the illusion panel and sleeves; I see more moms adopting this subtly sexy look since it's more covered yet show just enough while framing the collar and arms.
