But yes I managed to find some funky young looks there, mostly suited to the junior attendant league but also a few grown-up looks as well.
First up is Bryce Dallas Howard in a flowy Grecian sherbert hued J. Crew dress. Although I think the pale nude panels wash her out just a bit, the pink warms up her complexion and I think this would be a great bridal looks for a pregnant bride, in a cheeky
Amy Teegarden looks cute and fresh in a multi-colored mini dress. While I think the length is too bare for a wedding, I love the bold and colorful multicolored print for a wedding.
Chelsea Kane looks cute in a lacy bustiered peplum dress. I never hear of brides changing into a going away outfit when they leave their reception anymore, but I really like this type of dress for that.
Emma Stone looks cute yet comfy in a lace mini dress. I think this idea, with perhaps a sweeter color and a little bit more length would be great for a junior attendant.
Emma Watson looks great in an embellished white Marchesa dress. While I think the embellishment at the top looks a bit heavy, I still really like this as a "going away" look too.
I've actually come to admire Hailee Steinfeld's style, here in a Louis Vuitton suit. I applaud her for being different and sticking to what she likes and while some critics called her look "matronly" (I think not) you have to admit she stands out in a good way from the sea of "trendy" spray tans and low cut, high hemmed minis! Yay for a teen with actual style that is not trendy but actually stylish!
I really like this look and I think when I see it I think of perhaps the bride or groom having a tom-boyish pre-adolecent baby sister who wants to be a junior bridesmaid but isn't into perfume and updo's just yet; a stylish menswear "tux" that is still feminine.
Katie Cassidy in a crocheted Catherine Malandrino hit a bohemian note that would be great for a laid back or beachy wedding. If you want to be cheeky get a nude lining, if you want to be a little classier make sure the lining is white!
While I am not Selena Gomez's biggest fan - frankly I think she dresses to old for her age and mostly ends up looking like a bit of a tart - I think there are some good points about her linen-look Giambattista Valli dress that could be replicated for a junior attendant look. The good part about her looks is the loose silhouette, the creamy linen color and embroidery, and the free spirited hair. The bad part is that the hemline is too short for a classy junior attendant, and of course the "chola" hoops.
