Too often you see nautical style done in navy and red with a heavy emphasis on stripes, rope and knots.  While I can appreciate the look and the commitment to staying on theme, I also love it when staying on theme can also include whimsical twists.  One like this is more up my alley.

By chance I stumbled upon this nautical wedding on the Southern Weddings magazine blog which I think  hit it out of the ball park.  (To truly appreciate it, go see the whole thing.)

This picture below of the table setting was what caught my eye.  I love the exchange of turquoise and pink for the primary blues and reds!  It is still nautical with the stripes and rope but so much more unique, refined even.

While the whole of it is really amazing it was just the below image that really did it for me, so that is all I will post.
