The Jessica McClintock "Rebecca" gown is one of my all-time favorites.
Of course all the tiers are what initially endeared me to this dress. Add to it the delightful lace detail overlay on the dropped waist and the crumb catcher ruffled neckline. Even the tiny and delicate straps cap it all off because without them somehow the dress would look incomplete.
It is dreamy and whimsical while being wearable, approachable and elegant.
The dress happens to have all the sensibility of a vintage heirloom with its flattering wearability, stunning simplicity and most importantly, its affordability! Yet somehow it is also stunningly modern with an A-line cut and tastefully embellished while remaining clean and uncluttered and the opposite of over-the-top while at the same time not being plain and minimalist.
Yes Jessica McClintock certainly hit it out of the ballpark with this number that happens to be both visually delightful but also affordable. The fact that it is discontinues breaks my heart to no end!
Of course I didn't need to see this dress in action to know just how stunning and dreamy it is. Here are some more luscious shots of it in action!
