Personal favorites from Alexander McQueen Resort 2012...
I'm much more of a bargain gal myself, as the majority of us are, and not at all into things as far removed from myself as "designer" anything. But part of my enjoyment in beautiful dresses is that I imagine what it would be like to experience them in my own skin.
This collection is no different so while it is far removed from myself, it is still nice to admire pretty things and dream.
This Battenburg lace flared shift dress is so unique. You almost never see Battenburg lace on anything anymore!
Cute little black cocktail number with golden embroider. I believe I saw Anne Hathaway sporting this very dress!
A sheer mermaid gown with embellished gold leaf and flora motif.
A stunning corset bodice gown with tulle skirt and gold baroque detail.
And the same version in white. Stunning! The floral inspired origami folds of the ruffled peplum remind me of the back view of Kate Middleton's McQueen wedding gown bustle, which was designed to look like an opening flower.
