Continuing with my Golden Globes recap... Sarah Michelle Gellar's Monique L'huillier gown was a "love it or hate it" gown. I like the idea of it but not so much the execution. The tie-blue is interesting but could have benefitted from a cleaner lined silhouette; likewise the draped and rouched structures would have been more flattering with a different fabric. I think its a funky and fun look nonetheless and love the styling.
Sofia Vergara in a navy Vera Wang mermaid gown (what else?) always knows how to best show off her assets. She is curvy yet proportionate and you can tell she makes sure to get everything tailored to fit her perfectly. The only down point to this gown is the dropped waist detail which angles down at her hips and seems to visually widen them out just a bit more than they naturally are.
George Clooney's newest girlfriend Stacy Keibler wore a simple red Valentino v-neck gown. I think it was a bit simple but she has such a great figure and is so statuesque you really need little to make her look great. Even looking simple she makes George Clooney look like an old man!
