It is not often you find a gown made of Battenburg lace!
That is what initially drew me visually to this amazing Bellissima gown, style Vanessa. Battenburg is a type of lace that has a more open weave and is also sturdier than most laces, while retaining that romantic airyness and floral motif lace is known for. As you can see the entire skirt, from the empire down, is made of vertical panels of the lace interspersed with floral details and the hem is carefully finished in the lace border as well.
This gown also features a crossover pleated, strapless sweetheart neckline, inverted basque style embellished empire waist and a button back closure.
