The Inspiration: Vera Wang's 2012 collection (which I featured here), inspired by the Paris Opera and ballerina paintings by Degas.
The collection is indeed quite ballerina inspired and one of the gowns that really stood out was the charcoal grey tulle gown with rouched and draped bodice and full skirt. The muted grey and dusty pink bow of course recall the soft colors ballerina costumes tend to have.

The Look-a-Like for Less: Wtoo's "Dove" gown.
It is of course not an exact replica but it does mimic the original and in more than the stony color. The sweetheart bodice of this look-a-like also features a rouched bodice, this one drop waisted and lightly embellished. The skirt is also a full tulle skirt but is made of ruffled tiers, which you could say resembles stacked layers of tutus.
