Sheer Cape

I love all the variety of cover-ups that exist for wedding gowns.  Some of them are really very creative and unique and others are so original that they are quite out there.

I came across this unique capelet from the Monique Lhuillier 2013 Bridal collection.  They style is described as a "white silk tulle cape with gathered and front button closure."

It looks great and photographs like a dream however something about it doesn't strike me as quite too practical for actually wearing.  I find that happens with bridal accessories a lot: something looks dreamy and whimsical and fun yet not entirely practical for actually wearing and moving around in.  But of course that is why bridal portrait sessions exist.
