I feel like I've been slacking in the "daily" part of my "daily dream dresses" blog motto so here's another juicy look for today that I also decided to turn into a bridal glossary entry.
This organza jacket by Enzoani is so chic and tailored, with cuff and collar styling and delicate neck tie closure.
While the cuffs and collar are very crisp, the organza fabric and the raglan style sleeves really soften the look.
Raglan sleeves feature a diagonal seam from the front and back of the collar to the under arm (like a base ball tee) and are usually a shorter, ¾ length sleeves. Since the jacket is a sheer organza, you can easily see the seam in the picture. This style of sleeve can be more casual, but because it is flattering and provides great range of motion it is used in formalwear also. Admittedly it is rare it bridal gowns and instead appears in the form of jackets and cover-ups like this one.
My favorite detail is the jeweled button detail on the cuffs because it echos the jeweled belt detail of the gown.
I really love the look of that gown too, with its corset style bodice and of course the belt detail, but I can't seem to find the gown on the Enzoani website. Maybe its a 2013 style, which makes me very excited to see that collection!
