Why: Well I loved this dress at first sight, a relatively simple but lovely silk taffeta A-line gown with pleated train and sleeved lace overly at the bodice, gathered in front.
Then in reading the description I see that it is a jacket over the gown, sold separately. It makes me wonder just how the gown looks without it! In my opinion, this would be fantastic as is and serves to note how great it looks when the jacket accents the dress so well that it looks seamless and complete, not like an afterthought just used to cover up.
But since it is a separate piece I feel like its the jacket that makes the whole look.
