Why: Well I came across this gown while browsing Maggie Sottero and I have to say there is something about it.
At first if seems quite plain for a Grecian style gown but the more I look at it the more I love it. Grecian gowns are usually simpler and not very embellished but something about that detailed waist really works and looks fantastic. My only complaint is that it is so high waisted it is almost an empire!
I also love the ruched one shoulder and the gathered A-line skirt that are surprisingly slimming and not bulky.
