If you had to choose between an embellished bodice with a simple skirt or a plain bodice with an embellished skirt, which would you choose? I often ask myself that and I find that it would be a very difficult choice, since I sometimes think a gown is the sum of the parts, not just individual pieces.
However this gown is the perfect example of a really well done bodice that is intricate and paired with a plain skirt yet looks very complete.
The neckline is a strapless sweetheart, with an asymmetric rouched gathered into a jeweled bow detail. The natural waist gown looks like it is has a slim style skirt, but its actually a trumpet, with a godet style sweep train.
