In all the years of this blog its almost unbelievable that I haven't once featured Pnina Tornai gowns!

While not exactly a household name, if you're a fan of the TLC's hit show "Say Yes To The Dress" you know that this designer definitely has a dedicated following.
Pnina Tornai is the Israeli designer behind the namesake label that has achieved almost cult-like status.  She's made a name for herself by selling almost exclusively to the New York City boutique featured on the show, Kleinfeld's, and of course by her hit designs.
"Pninas" have a very distinctive, unmistakable look and unique style to them, as do the brides that wear them.  Gowns are heavily ornate and run the gamut of silhouettes from sheaths and mermaids, to A-lines and full ball gowns, incorporating lace, beading, embroidery, crystal work, as well as bold design elements like body conscious necklines, hoop skirts, eyelet corsets, sheer lace paneling, and exposed boning and corsetry.

This traditional style ball gown features a lace soft-sweetheart bodice with a full layered tulle skirt, accented with cascading lace.

 This full lace sweetheart bodice gown features a tiered skirt and a corseted bodice.   This version has a risque sheer lace corset but an opaque panel can be accommodated.
