I think there is something refreshing about cute little illusion lace cap sleeves like these, they just look so refreshing despite this looking like a fairly heavy gown.
The scalloped lace motif is continued in the double v-neckline, which in the back is a deep v leading to the button line closure and lace applique tulle train. The gown is also a flattering A-line shape with no waist princess seaming and all over lace applique.
