The main elements that made Monica's look a timeless classic are:
- The gentle fit-to-flare A-line silhouette with princess seam (no waist).
- The classic style, in this case a sleeveless v-neckline style.
- The clean and unembellished or minimally embellished design.
This gown by Wtoo is probably one of the more modern and trendier takes on Monica's dress with the flattering diagonal rouching and delicate cascading applique. The silhouette is clean lined with no delineated waist, the neckline is classic and while it has detailed applique, it is very minimalist and unobtrusive.

This gown by Jim Hjelm is another great option with its slightly surplice v-neck and fit-to-flare skirt. The waist panel does a great job of cinching and delineating the waist and accents it with a satin ribbon.

This Siri gown is also very clean lined and unembellished with a surplice, slightly shaped v-neck and shirred waist panel.

This Jenny Yoo gown is a bit of a departure from the others but follows a similar formula. It features a scoop neck with thin straps and a starburst style sculpting bust line. The gown is accented at the empire waist with a smooth band and falls to a clean princess seam fit-to-flare skirt.

This Demetrios gown also features a sculpted, v-neck bust with rouching. It also has embellished straps, an embellished inverted basque waistline and a clean and princess seamed flared skirt.

This last gown by Birnbaum and Bullock is probably the closest incarnation of Monica's gown since it is the only truly no waist princess seam gown of the bunch with a more defined modified mermaid silhouette

I like all of these Wedding gowns. Not really a style that I think would look great on me, but they are to die for.
