The Inspiration: This lovely ruffled, one shoulder gauzy gown by Lela Rose.
It looks like the softest and lightest thing to wear and the ruffles and rose pink color make it very romantic. And in case full length is not your thing, it is also available in a shorter, cocktail length version.

The Look-a-Like: This Laura Ashley pattern strikes a similar chord with the asymmetric ruffle that just happens to be a bit more modest than the above version. I just love how it is just a slightly different play on the same elements.
With patterns (and with the help of an experiences seamstress) you also have the options of further customizing, like lengthening the skirt to full length and widening it out to an A-line shape.
