Next up on my Golden Globes recap is Emma Stone, another lady who appears to have chosen a color scheme that suited her rather than the trends of the night. Even though her burgundy and raspberry vertically color blocked Lanvin gown kind of plays on the red trend, it doesn't entirely submit to it. This gown also seems to really play well against her skin tone and hair color.
I am a bit in between about Freida Pinto in her Prada gown. While I love the color and necklace, I feel that the gown is a bit awkward and off. It seems too high waisted to be flattering and also it seems unfinished, like the seams weren't properly pressed. Either way she gets points for going with color.
