Continuing with my Golden Globes recap, the other semi-trend color of the night was red and Dianna Agron wore a red cutout gown from Giles Deacon. I am on the fence about this look. While I love the cutout fabric on the top part of the gown, I think using the same cutout fabric on the skirt resulted in a look that was a bit busy. I think this would have looked cleaner with a solid trumpet skirt. But I really like the unique texture and her hair was nicely upswept so as not to distract from that lovely bodice.
Elle MacPherson looked like a stunning mermaid in her white Zac Posen gown. Not that her body needs any favors but the sweetheart neckline and vertically curved cuts help give her body line shape. The fun puffy tulle skirt and her beachy waves just complete a really great bridal inspired look.
