Continuing on my Golden Globes recap Busy Philipps looks so regal in a greacian one shoulder Temperley London gown with floor length fringe. I feel like she did the neutral non-color trend in a classic way by choosing white and it ended up looking fresh and flattering since bright white doesn't blend in too much with her light hair and skin. The long fringe is also unique and interesting and her updo completes the look.
Since she is apple shaped she has the same issue of being bigger on top than on bottom but this gown manages to make her look sleek and while it is forgivingly voluminous it does NOT look like a muumuu.
I like her fresh look for a beachy or tropical destination wedding.
Diane Lane looks great in a sparkly nude Reem Acra beaded sleeved gown. The detailed waist has a slight inverted basque shape that combined with the v-neck helps lengthen her. While Diane stuck to the nude color trend, the texture of the sequined dress and her dark rich hair color help keep her from being too washed out. I think something similar to this would be a great mother look for a wedding.
