I am in the market for something black and/or white and I came across these two very different lacy looks. I wanted to feature them because they are both so different but have the black lace motif in common.
This other dress from White House Black Market is also a winner. It has sleeveless princess seamed bodice with wide scoop neckline, dropped waist, and full box pleated skirt. The bodice has a bold black lace panel and it is finished off with a black ribbon waist. I am unsure if I like that black waist detail, but with a dropped skirt, it really does help define the waist.
The first is a Tory Burch lace sheath dress with a wide bateau neckline and lace short sleeves. The bodice is slightly gathered at the front, creating contour, with a self waistband. My favorite touch however is the (organza? tulle?) ruffled hem.
