Who: Manuel Mota for Pronovias, 2013 collection, style "Vega".
Why: This gown is just lovely, a pure visual delight.
I have noticed that illusion lace necklines are becoming more common, which I love since I am a huge fan. This illusion lace neckline is just slightly different with the addition of whispery sheer flutter sleeves. Even in pictures you can tell it gives the gown movement.
The illusion is a slightly high scoop over a strapless sweetheart bodice, which serves to show off the lace neckline.
And while the skirt is nice and full and the gown is definitely frothy and big, there is something about it that is sleek and not bulky. Perhaps this is due to the relatively simply cut, silhouette, and embellishment.
